Our brand new hand block printed cotton place mat, Cerulean, and hand block printed cotton napkin, Cheerful (Aqua,) caught their discerning eye, not just for its chic look, but also for its sustainability aspect. Hand-Blocked Beauty
Geometric patterns are hand stamped using hand-carved wood blocks and low-impact dyes on Kora (unbleached) cotton to create these placemats and napkins. Offered in sets of four, the napkins and placemats each measure 14 by 20 inches. The designs are handmade by a women’s self-help group from western India. This work is an important avenue for the financial and social regeneration of families displaced when a national park was created on their land.
