Celebrate International Women's Day!

This International Women’s Day, Sunday, March 8, we’ve been reflecting on this year’s theme — Give to Gain — and how it shows up in our work.

In the artisan communities we partner with, giving often begins with opportunity — access to work, training, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to households and communities. These are not always visible shifts, but they are deeply impactful over time.

What we have come to understand is that this process is not one-sided. As opportunities grow, so does the strength of the work itself. Skills deepen, traditions continue, and the textiles that emerge carry that depth and care forward.

This, in turn, shapes our work as a brand and extends outward — to our retail partners and to the customers who bring these pieces into their everyday lives.

Giving, in this sense, becomes something shared. It builds connection, continuity, and value across everyone involved.
