This is kora cotton—cotton in its most natural state. It is not bleached or heavily processed, allowing the fiber to retain its natural strength, texture, and soft off-white color.
At times, you may notice small specks in the fabric—traces of the cotton plant itself.
All of our hand block printed textiles are crafted on kora cotton. Azo-free dyes bring color to its natural off-white surface, creating a distinct look within block printed textiles. The unprocessed fabric absorbs dye in a way that adds depth and subtle variation to each piece.
