Small in size and full of color, these 12" × 12" handwoven cotton napkins are a cheerful everyday essential. Each set comes retail-ready and gift-ready, packaged as a set of four with a belly band that shares product and maker information. The compact presentation makes them easy to merchandise as party favors, hostess gifts, small table accents, or everyday add-ons.

Each napkin is woven on hand-operated looms, one of the oldest methods of textile production. Handweaving involves the careful interlacing of vertical warp threads with horizontal weft threads, requiring planning, skill, and close attention to rhythm and tension. In this design, two different yarn colors are used — one in the warp and one in the weft — creating the fine striped texture and color variation that gives the napkins their playful character.

These napkins are crafted by weavers at a small weaving unit in South India. Through this work, artisan partners are able to earn income while continuing traditional handloom skills
